There Is No Hawaii Quarter—Here's Why

You cannot get a Hawaii quarter because it doesn't exist. The US Mint's 50 State Quarters Program (1999–2008) issued quarters for the 50 states—Hawaii was the 50th state (admitted August 21, 1959) and received its quarter in 2008 (last in series).

The Hawaii Quarter (2008)

• Design: King Kamehameha I statue + "UA MAU KE EA O KA ʻĀINA I KA PONO" (state motto: "The life of the land is perpetuated in righteousness").
• Mint marks: P (Philadelphia), D (Denver), S (San Francisco proof).
• Mintage: ~500M circulation (P+D). Common in change.

If You Mean "Hawaii-Themed Quarter"

• America the Beautiful Quarters (2010–2021): Hawaii Volcanoes National Park quarter (2012) — Kīlauea eruption.
• American Women Quarters (2022–2025): None Hawaii-specific yet.
