Where did Micronesia people come from?

Micronesia is a region in the Pacific Ocean that is made up of numerous small islands. The people of Micronesia are descended from multiple groups of people who migrated to the region at different times in history. The earliest inhabitants were Austronesian-speaking people who likely came from the Philippines or Taiwan around 1,500 BC. These people brought with them a culture that was based on fishing, agriculture, and trading. Later, other groups of people, such as the Chamorros, Carolinians, and Marshallese, also migrated to Micronesia. These groups brought with them their own languages and customs, which helped to shape the diverse cultural heritage of Micronesia.
