What micronesia now?

Micronesia is currently composed of four independent island nations—the Federated States of Micronesia, Palau, the Marshall Islands, and Nauru—and the United States territory of Guam. These islands together account for around 3 million people living across an estimated 1,400 small islands or islets across the western Pacific Ocean. Micronesian communities around the world also collaborate and coordinate regionally on different aspects and challenges through entities such as the Micronesian Forum, Pacific Islands Forum, and other initiatives focused on their shared concerns and priorities.
