Is the deepest part of ocean its center?

The deepest part of the ocean is not necessarily its center. The deepest point in the ocean is the Challenger Deep, located in the Mariana Trench in the western Pacific Ocean. The Challenger Deep is approximately 11,034 meters (36,201 feet) below sea level. The center of the ocean, on the other hand, is the point that is equidistant from all points on the ocean floor. This point is not fixed and can change depending on the shape and size of the ocean basins. Therefore, the deepest part of the ocean and its center are not necessarily the same location.
