Dive Guam. The waters off of Guam offer some of the best diving in the world. Some of the best sites include the Blue Hole, Barracuda Rock and the sunken American tanker from World War II.
Explore Fort Nuestra Senora de la Soledad. This nineteenth century fort on the south end of the island is very well preserved, and visitors can walk atop its ramparts and inspect the authentic iron cannons.
Visit War in the Pacific National Park. This park, located along the west central coast of Guam, honors those who fought on both sides in the Pacific during World War II. There's a museum with artifacts from the war as well as trenches, gun installations and former battlefields. The park is also a great place to enjoy the beach.
Shop for local crafts. The indigenous people of Guam, the Chamorros, are known for their colorful craft items. Shop for textiles, items made from shells and baskets.
See the Statue of Liberty. No, it's not the original; that's still in New York City. But, a replica of Bartholdi's "Lady Liberty" sits in the Paseo de Susana, a gift from the Boy Scouts of America in 1950.
