What country is the bay of biscay in?

Bay of Biscay, French Golfe de Gascogne, indentation of the Atlantic Ocean between Brittany in France and the northern coast of Spain. Roughly triangular, it is bordered on the north by the Celtic Sea, on the south by the Cantabrian Sea, and on the west, where the base of the triangle lies, by the Atlantic. The bay is about 250 miles (400 km) wide at its opening between Ushant (Ouessant) Island, off the tip of Brittany, and Cape Ortegal in Spain, and about 200 miles (320 km) long from north to south. Its coastline consists mainly of sandy shores and dunes.
