Are there any atolls in the Atlantic ocean?

There are only a handful of atoll's in the entire Atlantic ocean.

- The only true atoll in the wider Atlantic Ocean is the remote Rocas Atoll, which is also Brazil's smallest marine conservation unit.

- The second-smallest atoll in Brazil, the Cagarras group off Rio de Janeiro, is an inactive oceanic volcano now surrounded by coral reefs.
