The Hudson Bay in Canada is the shallowest of the world's four main oceans, with an average depth of only about 100 meters (328 feet). It is located in the northern part of North America, and is surrounded by the Canadian provinces of Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Nunavut. The Hudson Bay is connected to the Atlantic Ocean by the Hudson Strait and to the Arctic Ocean by the Foxe Basin and the Fury and Hecla Strait.
