Wildwood, New Jersey is situated on a barrier island at the southern end of the Jersey Shore.     • Voted "Best Water View Dining" by South Jersey Magazine, Urie's has been a favorite of locals and tourists alike since 1956. Located at the foot of the Wildwood Bridge, patrons can dine inside or unwind and enjoy drinks from Urie's full bar on the waterfront deck. Specializing in seafood, the restaurant is known for its wide selection of appetizers, including steamed clams, batter-fried calamari, and oysters on the half shell. The menu offers several sandwiches for $8 and $9 (as of March 2010), while dinner entrees such as fried jumbo shrimp, broiled flounder, and steak and lobster tails range in price from $19 to $30. All dinners on the children's menu are $7, with a wide selection ranging from cheeseburgers to shrimp in a basket.

    Beach Creek Oyster Bar & Grill

    • Offering both indoor and outdoor dining on Sunset Martini Bar's waterfront deck, Beach Creek Oyster Bar & Grill was named "Best of the Shore" by Philadelphia magazine. The restaurant features a full bar, raw bar, and live entertainment on Friday evenings. Dinners range from $16 to $48, as of early 2010, but the $20 "First Seating Menu" is served daily from 4 to 6 p.m. and includes such dishes as strawberry barbecued salmon, sesame seared tuna, and Maryland crab cakes, complete with choice of soup or salad, house dessert, and coffee. The children's menu offers everything from chicken tenders for $8 to broiled lobster tail for $25.

    Boathouse Restaurant and Marina Deck

    • Constructed in 1989 almost completely over water, Boathouse Restaurant offers both indoor water-view dining and dockside dining on the Marina Deck. Featuring a full bar, the restaurant serves appetizers, salads, and homemade soups, as well as entrees including chicken Parmesan, broiled filet of salmon, crab cakes, and surf and turf, ranging in price from $19 to $37, as of 2010. The children's menu has a selection of five meals, all priced at $7.
