Wildwood is a New Jersey beach town located at the southern tip of the state. The city is primarily a tourist destination. Although Wildwood's year-round population is only 5,400, the number of people within the city swells dramatically into the hundreds of thousands during the summer months. The Cape May County Herald describes the ambiance of Little Italy as being akin to an authentic Italian piazza. Little Italy's menu includes traditional Italian favorites such as stuffed mushrooms, chicken parm and veal piccata.
Diners can create their own pasta dishes selecting from spaghetti, linguine, ziti and other pastas, combining them with their choice of sauce. There is no bar on site, but guests can bring their own alcohol. Little Italy is open daily for lunch and dinner during the summer season, which lasts from mid-May to mid-September. La Piazza Cucina provides for a true Southern Italian experience with upscale cuisine and dancing to live music on weekends. Menu selections include a wide variety of authentic pasta dishes, chicken marsala, veal Luigi and the signature Sicilian calamari.
There is a full bar on site, and a happy hour on Friday evenings. La Piazza Cucina is open daily year-round for dinner. The restaurant does not serve lunch, but the space is available for private functions during the day.
