Closest US City to London? Trick Question – London Is in the UK

London is the capital of the United Kingdom, not a US city. The question contains a geographical error.

• New York City: ~3,460 mi (5,570 km) – closest major US city (great circle).

• Shannon, Ireland: ~370 mi – closest airport with US preclearance.
