Where is Riyadh?

Riyadh is located in the Najd region of central Saudi Arabia. It is the capital and largest city of Saudi Arabia, and the fifth-largest city in the Arab world. Riyadh is situated in a valley and surrounded by mountains. The city is about 800 kilometers (500 miles) northeast of Jeddah, the main port city of the country, and about 450 kilometers (280 miles) southwest of Dammam, the third-largest city in the country.
