Who built the London Bridge in London?

There is a common misconception that London Bridge was built by Londoners; however, the London Bridge in London was not built by them. Instead, it was built by the Romans circa 50 A.D. They constructed a wooden bridge to make traveling between the north and south of the Thames easier for their armies during an invasion.
