Who does not have the right to vote in UK?

The following people do not have the right to vote in the United Kingdom:

- People under the age of 18.

- In general, people who are not British, Irish or other qualifying Commonwealth citizens or European Union citizens.

- Members of the House of Lords.

- People who have been convicted of certain serious criminal offenses and are serving sentences of imprisonment or detention.

- People with a mental illness or disability that prevents them from understanding the ballot.
