What will the freedom tower be used for?

The Freedom Tower, officially One World Trade Center, is primarily utilized for office space. It contains 3.1 million square feet (288,000 m2) of leasable area across 104 floors. The tenants of the building include various businesses and organizations, such as the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Conde Nast, and the China Center.

The Freedom Tower also has symbolic and commemorative purposes related to the September 11 attacks. It stands on the original site of the World Trade Center towers that were destroyed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The building's design incorporates several memorial elements, including the "Reflecting Absence Memorial" waterfalls and the "Survivor Tree," a tree that survived the attacks and was replanted on the site.
