What is the statue in green head park huddersfield?

The statue in Greenhead Park, Huddersfield, is Queen Victoria. It was carved by sculptor Thomas Brock and was unveiled on July 19th, 1906, by the Prince of Wales, later to become King George V. The statue is made of white marble and stands on a pink granite pedestal. It is approximately 10 feet tall and depicts the Queen in full royal regalia, with a crown on her head and a sceptre in her hand.
