1959 visit of shah Iran to US?
In 1959, Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi of Iran visited the United States from June 24 to July 1. During this visit, he had several meetings with President Dwight D. Eisenhower, during which they discussed the political situation in the Middle East, including the role of the United States in the region and the importance of maintaining stability. The two leaders also discussed ways to improve economic ties and cooperation between Iran and the United States. As part of his tour, the Shah also visited other major American cities, including New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco, where he met with local officials and business leaders.
