Where Can You Stand in Multiple States Bordering Nevada?

Clarifying the Four Corners Misconception

There is no single point where you can touch states that border Nevada. The famous Four Corners Monument—where Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah meet—does not involve Nevada.

Nevada's Actual Neighbors

Nevada shares borders with five states:

  • Oregon (northwest)
  • Idaho (north)
  • Utah (east)
  • Arizona (southeast)
  • California (west and southwest)

Multi-State Border Points Near Nevada

While no spot touches multiple Nevada-bordering states simultaneously, you can visit tri-state markers such as:

  • Nevada–Oregon–California tri-point (remote area near Denio)
  • Nevada–Idaho–Utah tri-point (near Jarbidge Mountains)
  • Nevada–Utah–Arizona tri-point (near the Virgin River)

These locations require backcountry travel and are not developed tourist sites. For a developed multi-state experience, Four Corners remains the most accessible—but it's in a different region entirely.
