Go to the Georgia's tax assessor's website. The web address can be found in the "Resources" section.
Choose the county in Georgia you're interested in. Click on the county on the map of Georgia or pick the letter that the county begins with at the top of the page.
Select the county from the listings provided. You will then be taken to that county's webpage.
Click "Search Records" at the top of the page if you want to complete an online search. You can also view the contact information for the tax assessor's office in that county, if you want to view the records in person.
Choose "Yes, I accept the above statement" after you clicked "Search Records." The statement reminds you that the data on the website is for informational purposes only.
Select how you want to search for property records. Choose "Search by Location Address" if you know the address.
Enter the property address and click "Address Search." Make sure you have the street number and name in order to complete a search.
View property information by clicking on the parcel number. You can view who the owner is, when any structures there were built, square footage, and various other information.
