Secure a shuttle if you're traveling from McCarran International Airport to a hotel-casino on Las Vegas Boulevard. Although you'll likely have to stop at several other casinos to drop off fellow passengers before reaching your own, the airport-to-casino shuttles, which are located on the west side of the airport's baggage claim area, are among the best deals in transportation at $6 to $8, as of 2010.
Opt for a limousine if you want to arrive at your casino in style. You'll find limousine rentals just outside McCarran International Airport's baggage claim area, and you'll also find limos waiting outside casinos.
Take a tram from one casino to another. Unlike most transportation options in Las Vegas, the casino trams are free, but the stops are limited. The Excalibur, Luxor and Mandalay Bay hotels offer a connecting tram, as do Treasure Island and The Mirage, and Bellagio, CityCenter and the Monte Carlo Hotel.
Hop on the Las Vegas Monorail to travel to casinos up and down the east side of the main strip. As of 2010, the monorail costs $5 for a single ride, $14 for a one-day pass or $30 for a three-day pass. It runs from the Sahara hotel at the north end of the strip to the MGM Grand at the south, with five stops in between.
Choose a cab if you're traveling short distances within the city. You'll see cabs all over the place in Las Vegas, with nearly every casino set up with a cab stand near its main entrance.
