Concord Point Lighthouse (concordpointlighthouse.org) is the oldest lighthouse in Maryland that is still accessible to the public, with access to climb to the top of the 30-foot tower as well as visit the original keeper's dwelling. Separate children's programs are also available on specific dates, with costs ranging between $5 and $100 per child.
Old Town Parasail (oldtownparasail.com) has been providing parasailing experiences for the past 16 years, parasailing around Chesapeake Bay and the Susquehanna River. Parasailors will see many animals and birds in their natural habitat, including bald eagles. The company offers 400- or 800-foot rides, one or two people at a time, including an adult and child. The "Lantern Queen" (lanternqueen.com) is a large passenger vessel, built to replicate a Mississippi riverboat, and is completely propelled by paddle wheels. The "Lantern Queen" sails out from Hutchins Park in Havre de Grace, exploring Havre de Grace, Chesapeake Bay and the Susquehanna River. It offers regularly scheduled public cruises as well as charter services, offering meals in the salon as well as a fully serviced bar. The open-air upper deck of the "Lantern Queen" is ideal for sightseeing.
