Spend a fun-filled day with your family at SeaWorld while visiting Orlando. Even if you live in Florida, consider taking advantage of this child-friendly destination. Take the kids to see the aquatic life, watch a show, experience the rides and interact with animals. Children younger than 5 will have special activities designed just for them.
Catch a show with a youngster at SeaWorld Orlando, where there are numerous shows to choose from, some geared especially toward very young children. See "Elmo and Abby Cadabby’s Treasure Hunt," a musical adventure featuring "Sesame Street" characters. Watch Elmo, Grover and the gang search for clues and sing songs in this child-friendly presentation.
Keep in mind that this is a seasonal show, typically available during the summer and holiday seasons. Consider other child-friendly shows like "Pets Ahoy" or "Shamu Christmas Miracles."
Take young children to some or all of the 15 exhibits at SeaWorld. Bring the kids to pet the dolphins at Dolphin Cove, see Shamu up close, experience the penguins at the snow-filled Penguin Encounter exhibit and visit the sea lions and harbor seals at Pacific Point Reserve. Kids are allowed to touch many of the animals, and they will enjoy the sights and sounds of these exhibits.
Bring the kids to an adventure day camp at SeaWorld. For five-year olds in preschool, there is a Safari day camp. Attend with your preschooler for a day of animal encounters, activities, take-home crafts and snacks. See penguins, manatees, sharks, stingrays and whales during the safari day. There's an extra cost above admission for the camp.
Enroll your five-year-old kindergartener in one of three day camps at Sea World Orlando, including the Sea Hideaway, Do You See What I Sea? and Secrets of the Sea.
Learn about animals’ hiding places and camouflage on the Sea Hideaway. Compare your senses to those of sea creatures during Do You See What I See? and discover the secrets of polar bears, whales and other creatures during Secrets of the Sea.
All day camps include animal interaction, activities, lunch and snacks, take-home craft projects, a T-shirt and a water bottle.
