Whether in Trinway to see loved ones or to explore Prospect Place, a mansion built by abolitionist George Willison in 1865 that is popular among ghost hunters, lodging can be found in the nearby area, mainly in the small town of Dresden. The Cabins at Exit Inn is located 23 minutes northeast of Trinway in Frazeysburg. A cluster of four cabins nestled in the woods, accommodations includes two bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen and a dining area. The cabins also offer whirlpool tubs, a screened-in porch with a hot tub, fireplace and scenic views of the ravine. The cabins sit on 72 acres, and are available for events and parties.
The Inn at Dresden is the former home of Longaberger Baskets founder, Dave Longaberger. It features 10 rooms, with amenities like gas log fireplaces, private decks, refrigerators and microwaves. Suites also offer Jacuzzi tubs, king or queen-size beds and Amish rockers. The hotel offers social hour between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., which includes wine and cheese. Guests can find complimentary cookies and popcorn in the kitchen or have a massage in-room. Dinner is available in the kitchen by reservation.
