Thousand Trails is a network of campground resorts with locations across the United States and Canada. Members are able to camp in any of the Thousand Trails locations with a tent or RV, and some locations offer cottages and yurts onsite. The Lake Conroe resort is located in Willis, TX, about an hour north of Houston.
Located in Willis, Texas on Lake Conroe, this 128 acre campground offers almost 300 campsites as well as 10 cottages. Lake Conroe covers 21,000 acres and is a destination for water sports, boating and fishing. This Thousand Trails campground location offers two docks and a boat ramp for lake access. Guests can also enjoy hiking trails, tennis, mini golf, a swimming pool and spa. A volleyball court, shuffleboard, and horseshoe pits are also available.
Wireless Internet access is available to campers. Guests can use on site laundry facilities, and electricity and water hookups are standard at each individual campsite.
Splash Town water park is a short drive away in nearby North Spring, Texas. Adults and children can enjoy live theater performances at the historic Crighton Theatre in downtown Conroe, as well as outlet shopping at the Conroe Outlet Center.
Thousand Trails offers a yearly camping pass that allows members to camp anywhere in their selected zone all year long. After becoming a member, campers can enjoy 30 free camping nights, and pay just $3 for each additional night they chose to camp within that year. Members can choose to stay at more than 80 different Thousand Trails resorts across the United States and Canada. All campground amenities are included in the price.
