It has 180 RV sites, featuring 30- and 50-amp electricity, water and sewer hookups; picnic tables; shade trees and enough space for large rigs with double slide-outs. The park is a haven for sports lovers, with its own miniature golf course, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, baseball field, basketball courts and volleyball courts. Castaways has its own boat launch as well, along with a club house, bath house, adult and kiddie pools and laundromat. The park also has cabin and condo rentals. Daily and weekly RV site rates include full hookups.

Omega Farms also features a hiking trail, a well-stocked fishing pond, barbecue pits, a covered pavilion, park area, horseshoe pits, bath house and laundry facilities. Free wireless Internet is available throughout the park, and a local phone line with a dial-up connection is available in the office. Thousand Trails Lake Conroe is set on an 128-acre preserve nestled right off Lake Conroe. Thousand Trails has 300 camping sites for both RVs and tents, 266 with full hookups and 10 with water and power only. Thousand Oaks also has 10 cabins for rent. The park has two boat docks, a boat ramp, a swimming pool and a miniature golf course, and hiking trails, a basketball court, horseshoe pits, spa, tennis and volleyball courts.
