Waxahachie Creek Park is located on the western shore of Bardwell Lake near the mouth of the lake's main tributary, Waxahachie Creek. The park features an equestrian trail, a boat launch ramp, a comfort station, a dump station, a hiking trail, extra parking, picnic areas, a ranger station, a restroom with showers and potable water. An attendant is on duty for 24 hours to assist campers. The park has 65 campsites with water and electric hookups available at the park as well as seven non-electric campsites. A group camping pavilion is also available that includes eight spaces with electric hookups and water. The campground is for daily use only and requires a minimum three-day stay on holiday weekends.
