    • Bayou Shores RV Resort is located near Galveston's historic district along Galveston Bay. The park has its own boat launch and offers paddle boat rentals as well as opportunities for fishing and crabbing. Bayou Shores' 84 sites have full RV hookups, including water, sewer and electric, as well as daily, weekly and monthly rates. Nine of the sites are pull throughs, and Internet access is available.     • Galveston Island State Park, located on the west side of Galveston Island, is a 2,013-acre park that's bordered by Galveston Bay to the north and the Gulf of Mexico to the south. The park offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, swimming, boating and wildlife viewing. The park's RV facilities include water and electrical hookups, restroom and shower facilities and picnic areas. Tent camping sites are also available.
