Chinese Restaurants Near the LAX Airport

LAX is an international airport that serves thousand of passengers everyday coming and going from the Los Angeles area. Visitors to Los Angeles can enjoy a large downtown area at the center of Los Angeles, Hollywood, Venice Beach, and amusement parks such as Universal Studios and Disneyland. If you are utilizing LAX and craving Chinese food, there are a number of restaurant options nearby for every budget.

  1. Mao's Kitchen

The menu at Szechwan Restaurant includes egg foo young with your choice of beef, chicken or shrimp and a sauteed three-ingredient dish that combines beef, chicken and shrimp. Appetizers and soups are also offered.

    P.F. Chang's Chinese Bistro

    • P.F. Chang's China Bistro is a worldwide chain of restaurants that focus on accommodating large numbers of people in restaurants designed to be fun and colorful. Lanterns, statues and fans decorate the walls of each establishment. Menu choices include signature items such as Chang's spicy chicken, which combines lightly dusted and stir-fried chicken in a sweet and spicy sauce, and wok-charred beef with peppers and mushrooms. Seafood-based and vegetarian dishes are also available. This particular restaurant is located three miles south of LAX.

    • China Grill is also located three miles south of LAX and serves a selection of Chinese dishes in a hip and modern upscale environment. The decor at China Grill is contemporary and colorful while also featuring authentic art from China. Menu choices include starters such as crackling calamari -- which combines crisp lightly breaded strips of calamari steak with Asian spiced kosher salt, fresh chili and is served with Asian pungent sauce -- and entrees such as waichun pad Thai noodles, which combines wok-tossed sprouts and China peas, fresh chilies and cilantro and is served with grilled chicken or grilled tofu.
