Blue Moon Fish Company is a four-star restaurant located 30 minutes from Sunrise on the Intercoastal Waterway in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. The restaurant receives fresh fish twice a day, seven days a week. Diners can enjoy a candlelit dinner on the terrace overlooking the water and passing boats. The inside dining area has an Art Deco style with an underwater theme featuring high ceilings, inlaid wood, carved accents and frosted glass partitions. Blue Moon has a raw bar serving spiced poached jumbo shrimp, sushi, tuna tartar and a sushi and sashimi sampler. The dinner menu features such specialties as herb-crusted grilled local swordfish, truffle-crusted sea scallops and macadamia nut-crusted Chilean sea bass. Wines from all over the world are featured on the restaurant's wine list. Brunch is served every Sunday.
