Lodging on Lake Candlewood in Connecticut

Candlewood Lake is the largest body of water in Connecticut. This man-made lake was created in the 1920s and has more than 86 miles of shoreline. Five towns -- Sherman, New Milford, New Fairfield, Danbury and Brookfield -- lie along the banks of the lake. Candlewood Lake is a popular summer vacation destination.     • The Cottages on Kent Road are located 1.5 miles from downtown New Milford.
