This resort is AAA approved and features condos and vacation homes laid out around a private marina. It's a more expensive option than some of the other vacation lodging, but comes with first-class amenities. While each rental varies, all properties have fireplaces.
The resort contains tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, an outdoor spa, an exercise facility, a basketball court, beach volleyball court, children's playground and a private beach. Some of these amenities require a small additional fee, which varies by amenity.
The resort also provides complimentary bicycles you can ride during your stay. Tahoe Keys borders Lake Tahoe and all properties have stunning mountain views.
Tahoe Beach and Ski Club is a resort hotel on Lake Tahoe's southern side. It is nestled on a private beach and is within a few miles of ski mountains and casinos. The resort features studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and townhouse-styled suites. Each suite contains a partial kitchen, including a microwave, toaster, small refrigerator, wet bar, blender, coffee pot and utensils.
Deluxe versions of any suite include a full kitchen. With the exception of studio suites, all contain jetted tubs in the bathroom. All guest rooms also have cable TV and you can request maid service daily. Complimentary wireless Internet is set up throughout the hotel and most rooms come with attached balconies or patios.
This is a nonsmoking facility, except in specifically designated areas outdoors. The resort includes a laundry facility, sauna, restaurant, two outdoor hot tubs, a year-round outdoor heated swimming pool and tennis courts.
Harvey's casino is on the south side of Lake Tahoe. Guests can stay in simple "classic rooms" to the more lavish "mountain suites." The hotel provides wireless Internet for a daily fee and each room has a bathroom phone. Beds are queen or king-size depending on the room. Larger rooms have additional furniture, such as armchairs and desks.
The hotel boasts a fitness center and pool, a 52,000-square-foot casino and a cantina. It also provides shuttle service to some local attractions, such as yacht trips.
Echo Creek Ranch is a private 16-acre estate. The ranch is designed for guests who want to stay as a large group. The property features a 4,000-square-foot log home that can sleep up to 20 people. It has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a bunkhouse, great room, three grand fireplaces, a ping pong table, a deck with private hot tub, wet bar and a barbecue.
The ranch is secluded and surrounded by forest, but is within a few minutes of the lake, ski mountains, restaurants and a casino. Pets are allowed, but smoking is not.
