Lodging in Broken Bow Lake, Oklahoma

The recreation area surrounding Broken Bow in southeast Oklahoma is extensive. The town of Broken Bow is a hub for access to Broken Bow Lake. The surrounding recreation destinations are Beavers Bend Resort Park, Hochatown State Park, and the Ouachita National Forest. The area is not isolated and accommodation choices are many.
  1. Types

    • The accommodations listed on the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce website are within 20 miles of the lake. They include dozens of cabin to rent that vary in size and are all close to lake recreation. There are at least a half dozen motels and hotels listed. Four RV camp sites and numerous tent camping facilities are listed.

    State Parks

    • The Hochatown State Park is on Broken Bow Lake. It has RV camping sites in the Carson Creek area, at Stevens Gap, and Cedar Cree. There is a lodge, the Lakeview Lodge, with 40 rooms available. At Beavers Bend State Park you will find 47 cabins and two camping areas.

    Rates

    • As of September 2010, typical cabin rates in Broken Bow are between $150 nightly for a one-bedroom cabin to $500 nightly for a cabin that has four bedrooms. Hotels and motels in the area can run from $60 to $150 per person double occupancy. RV camps are found with or without sewer hook-up and range from $18 to $25 daily.
