Campsites with amenities including dumping areas, utility hookups, bathroom facilities, picnic tables and utility hookups are available throughout Lake Cumberland. The 129 total available sites are open during the peak season as outlined by the State of Kentucky, which operates the facilities.
A variety of private single homes, cottages and condominiums are located along the lake's shoreline. These houses are rented via private owner and are lodging options for travelers who want all the comforts of home while vacationing.
Two full-service hotels are located on lake Cumberland. Lure Lodge, located on the waterfront, has 63 rooms available and offers guests an indoor swimming pool. The more secluded and smaller Pumpkin Creek Lodge has 13 total rooms available.
