Campgrounds in Lake Cumberland, Kentucky

Resort Park

• Located on the northwestern edge of the lake, the Lake Cumberland State Resort Park opens annually on April 1, remaining open through the warm spring and summer months. Amenities include a disk golf course, tennis courts, an amphitheater and hiking trails. The Lure Lodge is home to the Rowena Landing Restaurant and gift shop, where visitors can find souvenirs. The Lodge offers 63 guest rooms. The State Resort Park also provides 30 cottages.

  There are 147 campsite spots available, most which come with electric hook-ups. All campsites are pet-friendly. Most of the sites are drive-in, both RV- and trailer-capable. Sites 66, 7, 11, 12, 7, 147, 146 and 140 are for tents only. The campgrounds offer multiple restrooms, dump stations and playgrounds.

Annual RV Sites

• Lake Cumberland Camping, Inc. provides annual RV sites for $1,950 as of March 2010, a price which includes water. Campers will enjoy amenities that include the swimming pool, laundry room and playground. The rental cabin can accommodate up to four adults.

  The campground is only five minutes away from Lake Cumberland. It offers 33 rental sites, each with its own electric meter (you pay the bill) and water holding tank.

RV Park

• The Lake Cumberland RV Park and Golf Driving Range is less than 10 minutes away from the lake. Open year-round, the facility offers long- and short-term leasing. Indoor boat storage facilities, sewer hook-ups, a laundry room, bath house, wireless Internet and indoor heated pool are among the amenities offered. Some sites offer cable TV along with the sewer connection and 20-30-50 amp electricity.

Campground and RV Resort

• Only minutes away from the lake, the Cumberland Point Campground & RV Resort has its own boat valet service, private stocked fishing pond, community lodge and many other amenities to help you enjoy your Lake Cumberland vacation. A general store is located on the premises so you can get all your fishing and camping gear. Each of the 32 sites has a sewer hookup.
