Bay Landing is an excellent campground located along the southeast edge of Lake Bridgeport, near Runaway Bay. Along with traditional tent-oriented campsites, Bay Landing also offers RV campsites and rental cabins. Private campsites are available, but the majority of campsites are public. Available activities include fishing, swimming, boating, mini-golf, hiking along a scenic nature trail, volleyball, and the enjoyment of a game room (including video games). WiFi access is available, as are on-site laundry facilities. Bay Landing is seasonal and is open March 6 to October 30.

Possum Hollow is not located directly along Lake Bridgeport. Instead, Possum Hollow lies about two miles further east, right in the heart of the Caddo-LBJ National Grasslands. Whatever is lost in lake accessibility, however, is more than made up for in charm and amenities. Possum Hollow caters to both RV'ers and traditional campers. The RV crowd will find propane, electric and water hook-ups available. There is also on-site laundry available. The hiking in the area is superb--some of the best anywhere in Texas.

North Side Marina and Resort is located on one of the fingers of Lake Bridgeport, to the northwest of the main body of water, just off of County Road 1736. Moonlight Bay, Sunset Bay and North Star Pointe are all located nearby. RV campsites are available for rent, but there are only seven full hook-up sites, so be sure to call in advance and make a reservation. All resort guests have full access to the marina, providing an easy way to take advantage of the lake's boating potential. A camp store and a gift shop are located on site.

Wise County Park is a beautiful stretch of land that spans Lake Bridgeport at its northernmost extreme. Tent camping is available, as is RV camping (there are 24 sites available, 10 of which are full hook-up sites). Tent camping begins at only $5 per night--a true bargain. Wise County Park is open year round and offers public restrooms and showers, picnic tables, boat access and a playground, with plenty of access and opportunity for swimming and fishing.
