Buffalo Springs Lake

• Buffalo Springs Lake is located five miles south of Lubbock and offers three levels of camping. One type features water and electric hookups with campsites that are situated on level ground with paved areas. A second campsite option includes water and electric hookups, but no paved areas. A third option allows for traditional tent camping. Active campers can take advantage of ATV trails and rentals along with hiking and biking trails. The park also has a nine-hole, par-three golf course that is situated around the lake. The site also provides covered pavilions and a party house.

Lubbock KOA

• The Lubbock KOA is located several miles to the northwest of Lubbock. This location offers tent sites, RV sites and cabins. Campers can take advantage of a swimming pool and a hot tub that are open year-round. Wireless Internet is provided for free. There's also a snack bar on site, as well as several golf courses and craft malls nearby.

• Lubbock RV Park offers 88 campsites and RV sites, many of which are shaded by large trees. Each site comes with standard RV amenities including sewer, water and electric hookups. The park also has a large outdoor pool as well as laundry facilities, recreation facilities and a storm shelter.
