Dodge City RV Park, a member of the Good Sam association, is located in Alvarado. The campground offers 85 sites on 12 acres. The RV sites have full hook-ups with 20/30/50-amp electrical service. Sites are pull-through or back-in, and some are shaded, according to the park’s website. Other amenities include showers, restrooms, laundry, free Internet access and propane. Storage sheds are available for long-staying guests. Pets are welcome.

Rustic Creek Ranch is a large RV campground that has been around for many years. In 2010 it joined the Yogi Bear Jellystone Park network. Rustic Creek is located just a few miles north of Alvarado on 69 acres. It offers 248 campsites with full-service hook-ups, including cable television and Internet service. The ranch says it places some of its RV sites in a V formation because that provides more room for campers.

Stewart’s RV Park, located in Alvarado, has 50 sites with full hook-ups. Amenities include showers, restrooms and laundry. The rec room is used for gospel singing on Tuesday nights. The park’s bare-bones website notes that the park has lots of room to walk dogs, though it does not accept big dogs.

ABC RV Park is a small park that does not have its own website, though it is listed in several online campground directories, including Texascampgrounds.com. The park is located 1.5 miles off of Interstate 35. The park has 30 full hook-up sites, pull-throughs, a recreation room, and electrical and phone hook-ups. It offers discounts to senior citizens who rent by the month.
