Located in east Texas, Lake Palestine is a somewhat small lake, only reaching 18 miles across. However, Lake Palestine is heavily wooded and home to many species of wildlife and fish. The lake also offers many activities for visitors and campers. Several different campgrounds provide a variety of sites and styles of camping to match different tastes.
This campground is located not far from Lake Palestine. The site is part of the Texas railroad tour and is specifically provided for railroad visitors, although other visitors can also rent the locations. This site offers campgrounds for both regular camping and RV sites. Camp sites offer water hookups and cooking grills. Besides taking in wildlife along the nature trail, campers can also enjoy railway rides and a pond, while kids can play in a large park equipped with sprinklers and a playground. A railway line runs between this camp an another campground nearby.

Sky Traq's Resort is located right on Lake Palestine. This resort offers three camping sites as well as several cabins. All sites have shade trees, picnic tables and grills for outdoor cooking. The focus of this park centers around outdoor sports such as fishing and volleyball. Full hookups are offered at the camp sites including water, sewer and electric.

Lake Palestine Resort is located on the shores of Lake Palestine. There are several camping sites for tent or RV campers. Each site is equipped with all hookups. Lake Palestine Resort also offers cabins for the less adventurous as well as Wi-Fi access, a convenience store, restaurant facilities, grills for outdoor cooking, boat rentals and even video games. The park also supplies water sports fans with water ski and canoeing equipment. Families and churches have plenty of room for reunions and large parties.

Campers can choose camping sites on the waterfront or set back from the water at this campground. Campsites come with grills and some even have cable TV hookups.
