      The Camp Richardson Historic Resort & Marina, two hours east of Sacramento and a hour south of Tahoe Vista, offers cabin choices that are all within walking distance of Lake Tahoe. The cabins, depending on size, can sleep anywhere from 2 to 20 people and have one to four and a half bathrooms.       The Zephyr Cove Resort & Marina, is just 15 minutes north of South Lake Tahoe and 45 minutes south of Carson City, in Zephyr Cove, Nevada, and has 28 cabins situated on the shore of Lake Tahoe. The cabins vary in size from studios to two-story chalet-style, and each offers wireless Internet access, cable TV, fully equipped kitchens and private bathrooms.     Warm Weather Activities

    • Warm weather fun is not just limited to sunbathing on the shore.     Cold Weather Activities

      Lodgers of the Camp Richardson Historic Resort can rent snowshoes or cross-country skis from the on-site Mountain Sports Center and try them out on the 35 kilometers of groomed trails. Zephyr Cove Resort patrons can rent everything from the snowmobiling clothing to the actual snowmobile and take a guided tour of the property and its surroundings.
