Arkansas is known as the natural state because of its many natural features including caves, caverns and even a diamond mine. This southern state is bordered on the east by the Mississippi River and includes the Ozark, Ouachita and Boston Mountains. In addition to outdoor recreation such as fishing and hiking, Arkansas has many indoor attractions such as the Clinton Presidential Library. Captain's Quarters is a two-bedroom, two-bath cabin with a fully equipped kitchen and deck. Sawaha Lodge and Marina also has one-bedroom, one-bathroom cabins which include a hide-a-bed, satellite TV, fully equipped kitchen and a deck. Rustic cabins are also available which are similar in size and amenities to the one-bedroom cabins but also include a deck with a lake view.

    Russellville Marina, Boat Repair and Cabins

    • Russellville Marina, Boat Repair and Cabins in Russellville is next to Lake Dardanelle State Park. It has three vacation cabins available. Each includes a grill and picnic table, lake view and private dock for guests' boats and fishing. All cabins are furnished and have one bedroom, one bathroom and a loft with either twin- or full-sized beds; also included are a fully equipped kitchen, linens and toiletries.

    Rocky Hollow Lodge

    • Rocky Hollow Lodge is near Bull Shoals Lake and the 350-million-year-old Bull Shoals Caverns. The lodge offers private boat and fishing dock space for guests. Six furnished cabins are nestled among towering cedar, hickory and oak trees. Four of the cabins have two bedrooms and a sofa bed or futon and can sleep five or six people. Two cabins are bigger with accommodations for up to eight people. All cabins include fully equipped kitchens, outdoor grill and picnic table.

    Five Points Lake Hamilton

    • Five Points Lake Hamilton is near Hot Springs National Park on Lake Hamilton. One- and two-bedroom furnished vacation cabins are available. Cabins are air conditioned and can include tile and pine floors, lake views, television, a futon couch for extra sleeping space, a complete kitchen, ceiling fans and porches. Some of the cabins were built in the 1930s and 1940s and include knotty pine walls and ceilings and stone fireplaces.
