Captain Jack's Resort is on the edge of the 46,000-acre Bull Shoals Lake. It has an eight-boat slip from which you can launch your boat. The lake offers a plethora of activities, including wake boarding, water skiing, boating, fishing and canoeing. You can catch bluegill, bass and crappie. The resort has cabins furnished with a full kitchen. Toiletries are also provided in the private bathroom. As of October 2010, a one-bedroom cabin for two people starts at $65 per night.

Brass Bell Cottages is in Diamond City, close to Bull Shoals Lake and Sugarloaf Harbor Marina. You can take a dip at the swimming beach within walking distance of the cottages or learn about the Ozark Medieval Fortress, which is 14 miles away. The fortress is being constructed using 13th century techniques, and on-site experts can teach you about these. The cabins are furnished with a kitchenette, or you can opt for a basic sleeper room without the kitchenette. As of October 2010, a sleeper room for two people is $45 per night.

Wagon Wheel Resort and Cafe has comprehensive facilities on the edge of Bull Shoals Lake. Within 45 minutes of the resort are three golf courses, or you can stay on site and take advantage of the game room and marina. You can book a one-, two- or three-bedroom cabin. As of October 2010, from October to April the rate for a one-bedroom cabin is $57 per night or $77 for a two-bedroom cabin with two queen bed.
