The Black Walnut Inn is situated in Milford on a 160-acre estate, among oak and maple forests and a three-acre spring-fed lake. Well-behaved pets are permitted in the cabin and suite only. Horses are also welcome with overnight stable boarding available for Inn guests and riding trails through the adjoining Delaware National Forest. The Inn offers use of their resident horses on a guided trail ride or riding lessons for beginners. Amenities include an on-site bar, paddle-boating and row-boating on the lake, catch and release fishing, fly fishing and hiking and biking trails. Nearby attractions include Grey Towers National Historic Landmark, Delaware Water Gap and Bushkill Falls. Accommodation comprises of 12 rooms and one suite, adjoining the main house and a three-bedroom cabin hidden in the woods, on the far shore of the lake. The Inn at Starlight Lake is a 100-year-old lakeside residence with with pet-friendly cottage rooms. Separate cottage rooms provide outside porches and views across the lake. The on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with seafood and pasta night specials while the bar serves light snacks and bottled beer. A tennis and basketball court is available for outdoor sports. The Starlight Salon and Spa provides massages, body treatments and hair treatments. Local attractions such as ice-fishing, ice-skating, hiking and cross country skiing are available in winter while swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boating are favored summer pastimes. Keen Lake Camping and Cottage Resort is a privately owned, 90-acre spring fed mountain lake and vacation resort. Pets are welcome at both the campsite and in the rental cottages but only two are allowed per unit. The cottages vary in size and some are available on a year-round basis with accommodation from four to seven. Food and drinks are served in the on-site snack bar. The resort provides a grocery and camping supplies store, heated outdoor pool, game room, movie lounge and kids' playground. Boating, rafting and fishing on the lake are favored summer activities. Claws and Paws Wild Animal Park, Montage Mountain amusement park (used as a ski resort in winter), and six golf courses are within a short drive from the resort.
