• The Discovery Inn is on Grays Harbor, about five miles from the Ocean Shores beaches. The inn has 24 renovated rooms and offers free passes to the Bayshore Clubhouse, about a minute away, which offers an indoor swimming pool, sauna and spa, gym, and playground. Dogs under 50 pounds are $10 per stay, dogs over 50 pounds are $15. You can only have pets on the first floor. Rates at the Discovery Inn range from $50 to $100.

Canterbury Inn

• The Canterbury Inn is on the waterfront in Ocean Shores, Washington. The inn offers an indoor, heated pool, fully equipped kitchens, fireplaces and balconies in some rooms, and two barbecues on the property. You can keep two dogs up to 75 pounds each with you while staying at the Canterbury Inn. You must keep them on a leash and can only stay in designated rooms. The Grey Gull features privately owned units with each unit decorated differently. You can have up to two pets per room. Cats, birds, rodents and reptiles are not allowed. If any damage is found in your room, the hotel will charge you in $25 increments. Rates range from $135 to $360.
