Motels Near Greybull, Wyoming

An albino bison bull that roamed the area and was sacred to Native Americans is behind the name given to this small Wyoming town, with 1,774 people as of 2009. The Wyoming Tourism website says Greybull is the best-kept secret between the Black Hills and Yellowstone Park. Whether you are an outdoors enthusiast or a fan of museums and festivals, Greybull is the place to visit.

  1. Antler Motel and Suites

    • The Antler Motel and Suites has 12 rooms, a family suite and three deluxe non-smoking camping cabins. Free wireless high-speed Internet, cable television, refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker are available in each room. According to the Wyoming Tourism website, each room has a historical theme. The motel is located one block from the Riverside Hiking Trail.

    Yellowstone Motel

    • The Yellowstone Motel, at the base of the Big Horn Mountains, is the largest motel in Greybull, according to its website. The heated pool is open for use from June through September. The motel is on one level, and each of its 35 rooms has an exterior access. Small pets are welcome.

    Historic Hotel

    • The Historic Hotel was built in 1916 and has been restored to have that old-time feel but with 21st century amenities. Each room has been named after a famous local person. Complimentary continental breakfast is offered in Mylo’s Coffee Shop each morning. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, and each room has a television, alarm clock, coffeepot and hairdryer.

    Budget Host Wheels Motel

    • The Budget Host Wheels Motel on the north side of Greybull offers guests an exercise gym, satellite television and in-room coffeemakers. The 29-room motel opened in 1996 and was renovated in 2003. Cross-country skiing, a driving range and fishing are nearby.
