Boutique Hotels in Rhinelander, WI

Rhinelander is in Oneida County, Wisconsin, in an area dubbed the Northwoods. The region has many lakes and rivers that offer water-skiing, tubing, jet skiing, fishing and canoeing in spring and summer. Three popular lakes are Clear Lake, Lake George and Lake Thompson. In the winter, Hodag and Pioneer Park provide opportunities for snowmobiling, ice fishing and cross-country skiing. Rhinelander's famous Hodag, a mythical creature imagined by pioneer Gene Shepard in 1896, may have begun as a hoax but it is now celebrated by local businesses and Rhinelander's school sports teams.

The complex includes the eight-bedroom Lodge, the five-bedroom Norway House and nine cabins, each with one to three bedrooms. Cabins sit three to 15 feet from the lake and each has a rowboat.
