For breakfast, the restaurant offers cereals, fruits, yogurts, omelets and several other egg plates such as eggs benedict, eggs florentine and huevos rancheros. In addition, Alfalfa’s menu includes French toast and pancake sandwiches as well as a large number of sides such as grits, bacon and country ham.

    Perkin's

    • Perkin’s in Lexington is located conveniently on highway 25, making it easy to eat and shop at the nearby stores such as Steinmart, Ruth Hunt Candy Co, Dillard’s and Lexington Mall. Perkins is a family- and wallet-friendly breakfast restaurant. Perkin’s serves breakfast all day, and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They offer several egg plates including omelets and scrambles, and a larger variety of pancakes, waffles, and French toasts. In addition, Perkin’s prides itself on its large bakery selection including several pies, muffins and buns. Their sides are extensive and include various breakfast meats, breakfast potatoes and sweet buns.

    The Triangle Grille

    • Triangle is a fancier, more expensive breakfast option. The restaurant became a signature part of the downtown Lexington Hilton March of 2010. It has a private dining option for up to 30 people and valet parking. The kitchen is run by Chef Joshua Winslow, a native to Lexington, whose menu changes with the seasons but will always feature regional fare. The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet, continental breakfast, egg dishes and griddle dishes.

    The Calistoga Bakery Café

    • The Calistoga Bakery Café, located next to the Walmart Super Center in Lexington, specializes in breads, pastries and coffees. The menu offers several omelettes such as spinach and goat cheese or Spanish. Customers can build their own omelettes using a variety of breakfast meats, cheeses and vegetables. In addition to coffees, the Café also serves tea, smoothies and juices. Breakfast is served until 11 a.m. daily.
