New York City is the destination for millions of tourists each year. One of the historic and busiest sites in the city is Grand Central Terminal, located near East 42 Street and Park Avenue. Bryant Park, which is one block west of Grand Central Terminal, has gone through a major overhaul and revitalization over the past several years. What used to be simply an outdoor park is now home to restaurants, shops and even an ice skating rink. The shops feature many small vendor selling handmade crafts, art, clothes, home goods and other merchandise. The outdoor skating rink is open during the winter months, and in the summer, it is home to several free concerts and other events sponsored by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. Several restaurants operate on the premises as well.
Near Grand Central Terminal is Fifth Avenue, which is home to one of the country's most famous shopping strips. Window shopping at classic stores such as Tiffany & Co., F.A.O Schwartz, the Disney Store and Louis Vuitton, among many others, is within walking distance of the terminal.

Rockefeller Center is within walking distance of Grand Central Terminal and much like Bryant Park, it offers many sightseeing, eating and shopping opportunities. Rockefeller Center is home to NBC studios, which offer studio tours of the famous 30 Rockefeller Center building. The area is also home to the iconic Christmas tree, ice skating rink and many shops and restaurants.
