  1. Flyaway Indoor Skydiving

    • Flyaway Indoor Skydiving allows customers to learn how to indoor skydive for 20 minutes and then give it a try for three minutes. A vertical wind tunnel simulates the feeling of falling from the sky, and Flyaway provides customers with gear, materials and safety information to make sure the experience is fun and educational.

      Padding lines the walls so flyers don't injure themselves. Reservations are not required as coaching sessions are given every half hour.

      One flight for one person costs $31.95, and the more one pays, the more he or she has time to fly.

    Titanic Museum

    • The Titanic Museum's concept is "a celebration of the ship and her passengers and crew and to pay respect to those who gave their lives by simply telling their stories," according to the museum's website.

      Visitors are able to reenact activities those passengers on the original Titanic did themselves, such as shoveling coal into a furnace, steering a ship and feeling the icy cold water at the temperature it was that disastrous night of 1912.

      As of September 2010, adult tickets cost $20.58 plus tax; children's tickets cost $9.84 plus tax, if purchased in advance.

    Dollywood

    • Dollywood's website explains that visitors to the amusement park "experience our Smoky Mountain way of life" through "thrilling roller coasters, daring water excursions, family rides and kiddie rides."

      Alongside these rides and roller coasters, Dollywood offers live entertainment for those interested in country music, magic, puppets and gospel music.

      As of September 2010, season passes range from $76 to $122 for those interested in multiple visits. One-day admission tickets cost from $44.70 to $59.90, depending on age of the customer.

      More rides and attractions are open during the warm months due to the cold nature of the Tennessee winter.
