Restaurants Near Chase Field

Located in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, Chase Field is the home of Major League Baseball's Arizona Diamondbacks. The stadium opened on March 31, 1998 and was the first stadium to have a swimming pool, which is located in one of the field's high-end suites. In addition to the concessions and restaurants located inside the stadium, a number of dining options are located within less than a mile of Chase Field, including sports bars and soul food cafes.

    • Coach & Willies is a casual sports bar less than one mile from Chase Field (about three minutes by automobile.) The restaurant has previously won awards for being the the "Best Sports Bar in Phoenix" from the "New Times." The restaurant has large-screen televisions located throughout the room and shows live sporting events. The menu begins with 14 appetizers, which range from pub fare like cheese fries and nachos to less traditional fare like prosciutto-wrapped prawns. A signature sandwich is the prime time, prime rib of beef topped with sauteed onions, hot cherry peppers and provolone cheese on a ciabatta bread. Dinner entrees include filet mignon, battered cod and chicken topped with cheese, bacon, mushrooms and onions. The restaurant has a full bar. Coach & Willies serves lunch and dinner daily. The restaurant accepts reservations for lunch, but only makes dinner reservations when no events are occurring at Chase Field. Casual attire is appropriate.

    Alice CoopersTown

    • Alice CoopersTown is approximately one mile from Chase Field. The restaurant is owned by rock musician Alice Cooper, and the waitstaff wear flash makeup like the performer did during his career on the stage. Cooper's Town is also dedicated to baseball and features Major League Baseball memorabilia on its walls and televisions to show live baseball and other sporting events. Twenty appetizers lead the menu, such as the buffalo chicken wings, the calamari with pompodoro sauce and the fried zucchini. Barbecue is the specialty of the house with features like St. Louis ribs, smoked turkey breast and pulled pork. The restaurant has a full bar. Alice CoopersTown is open daily for lunch and dinner. On Sundays, the restaurant serves breakfast and has a bloody Mary bar. Reservations are not taken. Casual attire is the norm. Outdoor seating is available, weather permitting. The restaurant has a children's menu.

    Mrs. White's Golden Rule Cafe

    • Mrs. White's Golden Rule Cafe has served Phoenix since 1964 and is located less than one-half mile from Chase Field (less than one minute away). The restaurant is known for being one of the longest-operating Black-owned businesses in Arizona, and the quality of its food has won it awards for the "Best Soul Food" in the area from the "New York Times." The menu features items like southern fried chicken, pork chops and pond-raised catfish. All of the desserts are house-made with selections changing daily. Mrs. White's Golden Rule Cafe serves lunch and dinner Mondays through Saturdays. Reservations are not taken. Casual attire is acceptable.
