Laughlin, Nevada, is located on the Colorado River in the southern tip of Nevada, close to the borders of Arizona and California. Because of the temperate fall and winter climate, there are many things to do in Laughlin in November.
Nine casino resorts are located in Laughlin, including the Aquarius, the largest resort in Laughlin. Another large resort is the Colorado Belle, which was built to look like a paddle wheel steamboat. It contains a replica of a Mississippi riverboat and a microbrewery. The casinos can be enjoyed year-round.
Golf is a popular activity in Laughlin. Sunny days with average high temperatures in the 70s make November a perfect time to golf. Laughlin has many public and private courses in and near the city, including the award-winning Laughlin Ranch Golf Club.
Oatman, Arizona, is an old gold mining town located about 40 minutes from Laughlin on Route 66. Donkeys roam the streets, and gunfights are staged on weekends. An old gold mine is open for tours a couple of miles outside Oatman. According to the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce, which encompasses the Laughlin and Oatman areas, the town holds its annual Fall Festival in November, and the Christmas Bush and Store Lighting contest lasts the entire month.
